Working at Prested Hall.
Prested Hall is a family business, which has been built up over the last 10 years, when the owners discovered a sad, abandoned country house in need of lots of love and attention. A restoration project started and, while there are still some improvements to make and plans afoot, Prested Hall is now a busy 10-bedroomed venue for weddings, conferences, pamper breaks and overnight accommodation.
A few years into the restoration of the Hall, work started on the Health Club. Two indoor courts were built from scratch for the Tudor game of Real Tennis, the original game which has also evolved into today’s lawn tennis. The owner played the game at university and has been passionate about it ever since. Prested now has approximately 200 Real Tennis members.
A gym was then built. This has since been extended and a fitness/dance studio has been added. 3 outdoor lawn tennis astro courts, a large club room, bar and café, a 20-metre swimming pool, sauna, steam room, solarium have since been completed, and a former chapel in the grounds (which extend to about 75 acres) has been converted into a centre for holistic treatments.

All our staff are asked to work hard, be polite and welcoming, and to be ready to help other members of staff when the need arises. We employ both part- and full-time staff - numbering about 25 - with additional help at particularly busy times.
We operate a no smoking policy throughout. You must speak excellent English, we cannot afford mistakes, nor the time to repeat everything twice!
